Andy Revkin

Andy Revkin, best known as a prize-winning environmental journalist, is a longtime singer and songwriter living in Downeast Maine after three decades of performing around the Hudson River Valley. He has opened shows for Don McLean, David Wilcox and Dar Williams and was a frequent accompanist of folk legend Pete Seeger. His new album, "Wake Me up Martha," has been featured on WERU and hit songwriter Dean Friedman says his "songs are everything contemporary folk aspires to be." His first album, "A Very Fine Line," was described in Jambands as a “tasty mix of roots goulash” by Maine musician and writer Brian Robbins. That album featured Dar Williams, Bruce Molsky on fiddle and Mike Marshall on mandolin.
