The Milk & Honey Rebellion hails from the craggy coast of Downeast Maine. Drawing from their deep roots in the local community and the land itself, the band is committed to preserving and celebrating this vibrant landscape—its people, farms, fisheries, forests—and the music they inspire. The Milk & Honey Rebellion is heavily involved in the local organic farming movement and the pursuit of a simpler way of life.

Lead singer, Rachel Bell, operates a licensed creamery on the coastal farm that has been in her family for nine generations. The band plays many of Rachel’s originals which are highly influenced by folk and alt. country. The band also plays a fresh mix of danceable covers that pull from the realms of rock 'n' roll to R & B.
