Tre Sonic Quartet

Ry Cavanaugh and Dan Kelly are returning to TunkJoy—and this time they're performing as Tre Sonic Quartet. Ry Cavanaugh, Jake Greenlaw (Toughcats), Dan Kelly, and Bill Trevaskis are four seasoned musicians who bring together thoughtful songwriting, accomplished musicianship, and the kind of chemistry that makes live music worth showing up for.

Singer-songwriter Ry Cavanaugh is a co-founder of Boston's acclaimed roots band Session Americana, for which he has produced, co-produced, performed, and written songs across nine albums. His music draws from folk, Americana, and country, pairing warm vocals with songs that are heartfelt, honest, and deeply human.

For more than twenty years, Jake Greenlaw has been hooking listeners with original songs, tight-knit instrumental arrangements, and gripping live performances. Best known as a member of Maine's Toughcats, Jake brings another distinctive musical voice to the trio.
